The right address, the right moment and a decision that matured alongside us. In Saska Kępa, we have opened a new UMIAR boutique. A place that feels like a natural extension of how we think about jewellery, design and everyday life. A space where considered form meets freedom of expression.
From the beginning, we have built UMIAR on dialogue. Between simplicity and expression, craftsmanship and idea, function and emotion. We met at the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and since then we have shared a similar way of looking at the designed world. Attentive, calm and grounded in proportion and conscious decisions.
Our professional paths are different, yet complementary. Magdalena spent years working in product design, from transportation to home appliances, gaining experience with one of the world’s leading manufacturers. Malwina has an architectural education, and her way of thinking in terms of space naturally translates into the scale of objects. In jewellery, we meet in the same place: restraint in form and freedom in expression.

UMIAR jewellery is handcrafted in our own studio in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. It is there that sketches become prototypes, and prototypes evolve into refined, timeless forms. We work closely with experienced artisans, testing, refining and simplifying. Gold, silver, natural pearls and minerals are treated as integral parts of the design, not as additions. What matters to us is the line, the detail and the way jewellery functions on the body.
The new boutique is another chapter in this same story. Jewellery Bar by UMIAR was born from a desire to rethink the way jewellery is experienced. At the centre of the space stands a bar. When you arrive, you take a seat on a bar stool. In front of you, a mirror. The jewellery is not displayed on a shelf, it is served. You try it on without haste, with focus and with time to decide. It is a bar experience in a jewellery context. Conversation instead of pressure, attentiveness instead of rush. We wanted to create a place where you can pause, feel the form and discover what truly resonates with you.
The interior was designed by Malwina together with Jakub Lamot, her husband and professional partner in the architectural studio METRY. They approached the space in the same way we approach jewellery, with attention to proportion, rhythm and atmosphere.

We invite you to Saska Kępa. To a Jewellery Bar where jewellery has its own time.
